certification quick glance

At each level of the Life Skills Experience – PLAYer, Par, Birdie, and Eagle – participants should complete a consistent certification process as indicated in CERTIFICATION GUIDELINES. This process increases the probability PLAYer, Par, Birdie, and Eagle certified participants have not only been exposed to core lessons but can demonstrate and apply golf and life skills taught at each level.  Participants may not advance to another level until they have met the minimum requirements associated.

Scheduling

Certifications are offered during an optional 7th week of each session.  The 7th week is optional and does require a separate sign up.  Participants’ trials at each level’s certification are infinite so long as they meet the age and hour requirements per level.  If needed, individual assessments can be scheduled outside normal class hours.

reporting

If a participant is looking to progress to the next level, all certification information, including scorecard/s,  must be turned into your Coach, Program Director, or Executive Director prior to registering for the next advanced level.  The First Tee of the Golden Isles staff will review and communicate the next steps.
